Training Courses

At RAKM Safety & Rescue we customize your training needs.  The courses offered below can be taught together or separately depending on the training your employees need. 

RAKM Safety & Rescue is a 3rd Party Training Company, we do not offer Train-The-Trainer Certifications.  By maintaining our program internally, we can assure our students are getting the most current information, delivered consistently between our instructors.  Our pricing is low, but our training isn't cheap.  We offer weekly classes in English or Spanish and sometimes both. 

  • We prefer a minimum class size of 6 students when training at our RAKM facility.  However, if a customer needs training quick we have done as few as 2 students in a class. 

  • Do you have your own training tower?  We'll come to you with the same great pricing.

  • Do you have a larger group to train?  We can still come to you and find a tower close by!

FALL PROTECTION CLIMBER/RESCUER (includes RF Awareness and Hazard Assessment)

  • 1 Day Classroom

  • 1 Day Tower Practical

  •  $650.00 per person​

  • 2 Year Certification (1 year Rescue Evaluation is the responsibility of the Company and their Qualified person, contact us and we can help with those evaluations)

 

RIGGING/CAPSTAN

  • 1 Day Classroom/Practical

  • $250.00 per person

  • 2 Year Certification

 

GIN POLE TRAINING (Emphasis on specific manufacturer gin poles)

  • 8 Hours of classroom instruction

  • 32 Hours of practical training in their specific gin pole

  • $1,250.00 per person (discounts given for 6+ students from the same company)

  • 2 Year Certification (includes updating the Competent Rigger Certification for 2 years)
